Cassi Wilburn — Paralegal

Cassi grew up in Pulaski, Tennessee, and is a graduate of Giles County High School. She received her associate degree in paralegal studies from Kaplan University in 2011. She is a mother of two children, Devon and Paisley. Cassi enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children's sporting events and reading. She has worked as a paralegal and/or legal assistant for over six (6) years with more than three (3) of those in our office. Cassi focuses on civil cases.

Mandi Burchell - Office Manager

Mandi was born and raised in Giles County. She graduated from Gateway Christian Academy and studied Accounting at Martin Methodist College. Mandi has a wonderful husband, Justin and three beautiful children, Levi, Colston and Averi. They actively attend church at The Well. The majority of their free time includes attending sporting events and spending time as a family. Mandi has previously been employed in the financing industry and currently serves as a legal assistant. She primarily works on civil cases.

Brooklyn Biase — Legal Assistant

Brooklyn grew up in Pulaski, Tennessee and graduated from Richland High School. She previously worked in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant for nine years. She is a mother of two children who enjoys spending time with her family and attending sporting events. Brooklyn has worked as both a receptionist and legal assistant in our office since June of 2016. She currently assists the office on criminal cases.

Carlie Shelton - Legal Assistant

Carlie was born and raised in Fayetteville, Tennessee, where she graduated from Lincoln County High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Assistant Studies in 2017. Carlie enjoys spending time with her family and riding horses on the weekends. She serves as the receptionist for the office (AKA air traffic controller).

Gail Martin- Receptionist

Gail is a native of Marshall County, but has made her home in Giles County for more than 25 years. Her work history includes various office settings, but she most enjoyed working at the Public Defender's Office and as a Misdemeanor Probation Officer (for ten years). She is happy to be back working in the field of law, and looks forward to learning much more while working in Mr. Massey's office. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, flower and herb gardening and crafting.
